    Blocking individual websites on iPad 2 in the Safari browser

    I am using Safari browser on my iPad 2. Now I want to block certain websites on my iPad 2. Can I block sites selectively and if yes how to do that?

    You can block the individual websites with the safari browser so that it enables you for the private browsing and also it is better for you to go through the options of the safari browser and then you can choose the options of blocking certain websites through the safari.and also you can browse faster with the options in the safari.

    Hello friend,



    According to me the iPad is being used at home over WiFi,

    You can block the websites through your router's Administrative setup.

    The instructions to do that should be with your router's box or you can Google the model number.

    Of course, if this isn't a good enough solution, the best way to get Apple to hear you is this:

    Hi there,

    You can set the restrictions for access to Safari all together but not websites individually,
    if you want to do that then follow the procedure given below

    PROCEDURE:

    1)click on SETTINGS then
    2)tap on RESTRICTIONS then
    3)turn Safari off.
    and its done..

    Yes, you can block individual websites on your safari web browser.
    To do so you have to change the settings of your iPad.
    By doing so you can stop loading of many unnecessary and unwanted websites on your safari.
    By this even you can save of your data from your data plan.
    By following the below steps you can block any of the web site you didn't want to load on your web browser.
    Follow the below steps to change the settings of your iPad.
    -Go to the settings
    -Tap on general
    -Choose restrictions
    -Select Safari and turn it off.
    By this u can stop loading of you r browser unnecessary.
