    Auto locking iPad2 when out of use

    Is there any option to auto lock iPad2 when out of use? Please let me how to auto lock it?

    Yes, there is an option to auto lock your iPad2 when out of use. You just need to perform the following steps to do the same.
    • First of all move to settings
    • Then choose the option ‘general’
    • Now choose the 'Auto lock' option
    • Tap on it and you can set the time limit for auto locking your iPad2 when not in use
    Now you have successfully set auto lock your iPad2 when out of use.

    Yes ,the Auto locking option is provided in the ipads, it is the most common feature for all mobile devices and very easy to set.To enable Auto lock in your ipad firstly tap on the SETTINGS icon in the homescreen of your ipad and then tap on the option denoted as GENERALE and under the list select the option Auto lock and now tap on this option, enable it and select the time for Auto lock.

    Hi there,

    There is an inbuilt feature of auto lock in ipad.
    You just need to follow some steps given below to activate the feature.

    STEPS:

    1)Go to HOME SCREEN.

    2)Tap on SETTINGS icon.

    3)Now go for GENERAL

    4)Finally tap on AUTO-LOCK option

    and activate it by adding the appropriate time.

    Auto lock

    Yes. We can lock the ipad screen when not in use. We can set a timer for automatic lock. otherwise we can manually set the lock for the device. We can also set password for unlocking.

    Go to settings and choose the general options. The auto lock option can be activated from here and also set a time out for which the phone will remain idle and the device will get automatically locked.

    Yes auto locking feature is available on the Ipad2. You can enable it by following below steps-
    • Turn ON your Ipad and launch the home screen.
    • Now tap on the settings option and proceed to next step.
    • Now you will find the option labelled General, you need to click on it.
    • Here you will find the option Auto lock, click on it.
    • You can also set the time limit from the options available.
    • Save the new settings. It's done.

    The steps to be followed are:

    --> Then tap on " Settings "

    --> Then select " General " Settings
