    Archiving read books on iBooks

Even though it is possible to read books via iBooks on my iPad 3, I am looking for an option on iBooks that can enable me to archive the books that I have read already. Is there any option available for that and how can I make use of it?

Re: Archiving read books on iBooks

You can archive the read books by making use of the Collection option on iBooks. You can find that option right after opening the iBook app on your iPad. You should tap that option. After that, you should tap the ‘New’ option and give a name to your ‘Collections’. Then, you should tap the ‘Done’ option to reflect the changes. You should then quit the ‘Collections’ by tapping anywhere on bookshelf. After that, you should tap the ‘Edit’ button and then tap the book you want to archive. On doing so, you can view ‘Move’ option in the upper left corner of the iBooks app. You should tap on that option and select the name of the ‘Collections’ you have created before. The books you have selected will then move into ‘Collections’ and reside there. You can take a look on that book at any time by going into Collections.

    Archiving read books on iBooks

Your books can be added to your collection in iBooks application. You can start a new collection and add the book into it. Otherwise, you can add the book into the existing book collection in your iBooks application.

Follow these simple steps to add a book into your iBooks app:

    Procedure
    >> Open iBooks
Choose the Collection from the menu items.

    >> Select new
This is selected in order to create a new collection. You can also add into existing collection.

    >> Specify a name to collection
    >> Touch on the Books shelf

Now you will get some options and choose edit from it. Select the book you want to add to the application archive and select Move.

    >>This will prompt a menu which asks for the available collection names. You can add books onto any one if the existing collections.

    That's it. You are done.
