    Apple ID not working on iPad 1 after upgrade

    I had done an IOS 5 upgrade on my iPad 1. After doing so I found that the iPad does not accept my Apple ID. I logged into it through my PC and changed password and tried again on iPad but still do not accept it. How can I access my account now?

    If your Apple ID is a valid one this should not happen. That is what intrigues me. This could happen if your iPad is a jail broken one, but you haven’t mentioned anything of that sort. Anyway, you could first try creating a new ID and then try entering it through your iPad. This could help us diagnose where the problem lies. There is another very important thing to be noted. In IOS 5, for the Apple ID to be accepted it should be in the form as an Email address. It is this same ID that would give access to iTunes also. So if your ID is not an email address, create a new one in the format and try logging in.

    One think you need to do ,you have reset the id and password.

    Steps to follow:

    :: First close all running application on your i Pad device.

    :: Then go to the Home screen by tapping the Home button.

    :: And select the"My Apple ID" from the apps section.

    :: Once its opens press the "Manage account" and select the
    "Forgot your Apple ID" option in the sign in page screen.

    :: And under it you have to answering the security question.

    :: After completing the process it will gives the ID and password OK.

    Apple Id not working on iPad 1 after upgrade to iOS 5 is a common problem.

    IOS 5 accepts only Apple Id's with the form Email Address only.

    I think your Apple Id is not in the form of Email Address.

    So better create a New Apple ID and try to log-in .

    thus you can get rid of this problem.

    for Apple ID not working on iPad 1 after upgrade follow the steps below---


    -->start the button of the menu option.

    -->select the setting option.

    -->go to the application option.

    -->open the apple id on the screen.

    -->click the manage apps.

    -->open the forget apple id option.

    -->log in the account & enter the requirement see on the screen.

    -->now create a new id cord .

    -->now sign in again by the enter password & user id also.

    -->so solve the problem.

    The problem is due to the following reasons

    • The IOS 5 accepts the ID if it is in the email Id form.
    Check weather it is that form or not
    • If your ipad is jail broken then also it does not accept the old apple ID

    To solve this problem you need to create the new apple ID and use it


    • Go to settings through the home page
    • Then select the option Applications
    • Now open the Apple ID
    • Then select the option Manage apps
    • Now choose the option Forgot apple ID
    • Then choose log in account by providing the details
    • Then you can use the newly created apple ID
