Three days ago, I upgraded my iPad 1 to iOS 4.2.1 to use some features suitable for my office work. Since then, the iPod app displays only ‘No content’ on my iPad instead of songs. How can I get rid of this issue?

Connect your iPad into PC through any compatible USB cable. Then, open iTunes on your PC. After that, press the ‘Summary’ tab available on the screen and click the name of iPad shown under ‘Devices’ option. Then, click the ‘Music’ option and check whether the songs are corrupted by playing any one song in iTunes. Select the check box next to the ‘Sync Music’ option after that. You can then click on both ‘Apply’ and ‘Sync’ option for transferring the songs from iTunes library to your iPad. Finally, unplug your iPad and open iPod app to check whether you can view the songs or not.
